Shipping & Returns
Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges
Can I process a refund?
If you change your mind, normally we would offer you a store credit less the original shipping cost. Refunds are at the sole discretion of Outdoor Tactical. If we do agree to refund your order you will incur a 15% restocking fee and the original shipping cost will not be refunded.
To return an item simply email support@outdoortactical.comau and we will send you a Returns Form.
All returns must be accompanied with a RMA# clearly labeled on the outside of the box. Outdoor Tactical does not accept returns without a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) Number. All packages received without an RMA # included on the box will be returned to the sender.
When returning items to Outdoor Tactical, the goods must be accompanied by proof of purchase, be in original purchase condition (unused) and include the packaging, instruction manuals and tags. Products must not be used, worn or soiled. Please ensure the product is well packaged and protected from damage in transit. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Outdoor Tactical is not responsible for any returned product that is lost or damaged in transit.
No returns, exchanges or refunds on clearance items, unless faulty. No returns, exchanges or refunds on special order Items, where by the packaging has been opened and we cannot re-sell that product as new.
Note: All Outdoor Tactical returns are subject to assessment. Refunds/Credits are at the sole discretion of Outdoor Tactical and will only be given to pre-approved requests. All items must have been purchased through Outdoor Tactical. For exchanges there will be a re-delivery fee of $15 to cover the costs to ship the new item to you
What if I ordered the wrong size?
It happens, email support@outdoortactical.com.au and we will send you a Returns Form.
We only replace items if:
- It has not been worn or used.
- It has no marks, scuffs, dirt, or stains.
- The item tags have not been removed.
- All items are returned including packaging, parts/accessories, etc.
- The return is received within 7 days of delivery.
Exchanges can be made on like items only, meaning a different size or color of the same product. If you would like a different product, please use the return form to request a refund and place a new order for the desired product.

The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on where you live.
Re-delivery fee from $15.00 (depending on the product) will be charged to you.
What are the items that cannot be returned?
- Underwear, Socks & Thermals
- Face wraps, reusable face masks and neck gaiters
- Carabiners
- Gas Canisters
- Food
- GPS & Electronic Navigation Devices
- Any other item deemed to be unsellable
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards / Vouchers
- Downloadable software products
How can I claim warranty for a faulty or defective item?
If you have received a faulty product or you believe you are entitled to a warranty repair/replacement for an item that is not working correctly, send us an email at support@outdoortactical.com.au and complete all the necessary information. Upload up to 6 images of the item concerned showing any defects. Include a full description of the fault / defect. Our returns department will assess and advise what to do. Outdoor Tactical will work with you and the manufacturer to assist in the warranty process. In some cases, Outdoor Tactical may instruct you to contact the manufacturer directly if we believe this will be an easier / faster solution for you.
Why was my returned item sent back to me?

When will I receive my order?
We pick & pack most of our items from our Gold Coast Warehouse within 24 hours. But we also ship from various warehouses throughout Australia. Hence, shipping times may vary from 4-7 or 5-10 business days depending on the warehouse origin.
Holidays are not considered business days and will cause additional delays. Outdoor Tactical makes every effort to deliver your order in a timely manner. Delivery times are not guaranteed. High order volumes and transit delays with carriers can cause delayed deliveries.
Why my order is taking so long?
If you are waiting for your order please check the tracking number we have emailed you. You can contact the couriers directly with the consignment number if you would like a more approximate ETA. If you have not received an email feel free to contact one of our team via phone on +61 7 3077 8889

Can I track my order?
Yes you can! Log in to your account via our website and click on your order number. Alternatively, if your order has been sent, click on the link we have emailed you and hold on to this email until you receive your order.
Why did I only receive a portion of my order?
Sometimes our orders are shipped from our partner warehouses. Not to worry, the expected delivery time of your orders falls in line with our expected delivery dates so the parcels should arrive together or a day apart.

Our customer service works from Monday-Friday 9am-4pm AEST. BUT! We are passionate about what we do and your business is important to us so we normally respond to emails outside of our normal business hours pretty quickly.
